Post about the Good Citizen Challenge – You Could Win $250!
Is your child participating in Seven Days’ Good Citizen Challenge? If so, encourage them to write a posting about their experience (you can submit it on their behalf). They could win a $250 gift certificate to the local store of their choice!
Any posting published on or before September 4 that includes the words “Good Citizen Challenge” and that meaningfully reports on a Challenge activity counts as an entry, so the more activities your child completes – and shares on your FPF – the greater their chances of winning!
If you aren’t already participating in the Challenge, it isn’t too late! Just visit https://goodcitizenvt.com/good-citizen-challenge-2023/ to get started.

Re. Car Jacking on Aug 17
Paula Tamburello • FOSTER HILL, SOUTH WOODBURY
A report of a car jacking in Hardwick on the night of Aug 17 was very disturbing. What’s also disturbing is the lack of information surrounding this incident. Has it been verified? Is the victim ok? Are the police investigating?

Re: Notice of Special Meeting August 25
Karli Brown • Dog Pond Rd, Woodbury
Seems unethical to announce a special meeting for 8am on a Friday to set a property tax rate while most individuals have to be at work…. Maybe a 6pm meeting would be a much better idea. But let’s face it, nobody on the select board cares about the general population of Woodbury …
