Municipal Code of Ethics Training

Many Woodbury town officials are required to take Vermont Municipal Code of Ethics training and self certify that they have done so.

– There’s a three-page summary of Vermont’s Municipal Code of Ethics, here. Then,

– Go to the training page and follow the steps, which include a 45-minute video:
https://ethicscommission.vermont.gov/training
(scroll down and click on Municipal Code of Ethics Training)

Or,

– To skip watching the video and instead read its transcript, which takes about 10 minutes, go here. Then,
– Go to https://ethicscommission.vermont.gov/training
– Scroll down to and click on Municipal Code of Ethics Training.
– On the next page, do the same thing: scroll down and click on Municipal Code of Ethics Training.
– This brings you to a page where you are asked: Are you a municipal officer who needs to complete municipal ethics training? Select Yes
– Scroll down and in the lower right and click on Next.
– There’s a five-question Knowledge Check. Complete, then Next.
– Enter the Training Completion Details, then Submit to self certify.

– Let Woodbury’s Ethics Commission liaison John Reid know you have completed the training so that can be entered in the list towns are required to keep. johnreid@fastmail.fm
