Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) hears appeals of decisions rendered by the zoning administrator, and reviews conditional use, variance requests and other unspecified uses on a property. (Conditional use is to ensure that a proposal fits within a specific area; a variance allows for possible flexibility from the zoning regulation requirements; and an unspecified use allows for a special exception that is not defined in the Zoning Regulations.)

Woodbury’s five-person Zoning Board of Adjustment is appointed by the Select Board for staggered terms of three years. The members are:

• Jonah Meacham, chair
• Rebecca Browning
• Rick Cannon
• Ward “Skip” Marchesani
• Michael McGlynn
