New Town Treasurer, Lilly Baron
The Woodbury Select Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Lilly Baron as Town Treasurer.
Lilly succeeds Brandy Smith, who is stepping down after managing the town finances for 11 years.
Woodbury’s Town Treasurer is elected for a three-year term. Brandy’s decision to step down — which she gave a year in advance — is in mid term, thus the Select Board’s interim appointment of Lilly, who will seek election as Town Treasurer at annual Town Meeting, Saturday, March 1.
Lilly hails from the Detroit area and has worked some interesting jobs since graduating from Western Colorado University in 2020. Most recently, she was the Development Director – in charge of fundraising and grant writing – at the Special Needs Support Center based in White River Junction.
She and her partner Kaleb Olsacher moved to Woodbury last summer and live in Kaleb’s family home on Foster Hill Road.
Please join us in thanking Brandy for her years of dedicated service, and welcoming Lilly to our Town government team.
