Woodbury's annual Town Meeting is held on the Saturday preceding the first Tuesday of March, at 10 a.m. in the Woodbury Elementary School Gymnasium. Voters meet to elect town officers, approve town expenditures for the coming year, and take up any other matters brought before the meeting.
(Traditionally in Vermont and the rest of New England, Town Meeting day is the first Tuesday of March. However, in 2022 Woodbury voted to change its annual Town Meeting to the preceding Saturday.)
A pre-Town Meeting Forum is held on the Thursday before Town Meeting, at 6 p.m. in the Woodbury Elementary School Gymnasium.
In addition to annual Town Meeting, a special Town Meeting may be called at other times by the Select Board, or by petition from at least 5 percent of the Woodbury's registered voters.
