Woodbury Select Board -Special Meeting
Minutes
Monday July 6, 2026, 6:00 P.M.
at the Woodbury Town Office
The meeting was called to order at 6:05. Present were select board members Chris
Casey, Diana Peduzzi and John Gordon, as well as John Reid, Auditor and David
Mears, attorney, by phone.
The agenda was adjusted to add a second executive session later in the meeting to
discuss employee/personnel issues. 313 (a)( 1 )(B)
At 6:10 The Board voted to convene an Executive Session pursuant to 1 V.S.A.
§313(a)(l )(E) -legal matters -to include John Reid and David Mears.
6:45 the Board closed the Executive Session, and voted to instruct attorney
Mears to draft a letter to Swenson Granite Company, with our response to the June
26 letter from Chris Roy, Attorney for Swenson. The Board will review the draft
for final approval at its regular meeting on July 13.
6:50 -John Reid presented a report he compiled from an annual compensation
survey done by the Vermont League of Cities and Towns.
6:52 The Board voted to convene an Executive session pursuant to 1 VSA
313(a)(l)(B). No decisions were made and the session was closed at 7:05
7: 10 The board began review of the end-of FY 2026 numbers in preparation for
setting the FY2027 tax rate in the near future.
7: 15 The meeting was adjourned.
